Job Description:
The position is primarily one of a business consultant of fee-based ERP software within a manufacturing environment. The position coordinates and monitors billable projects from initiation through final delivery. Serves as a liaison between company and client in order to ensure all targets and requirements are met. Duties are usually performed at the customer’s site. The position operates under minimal supervision on small to large sized projects. Designs are often complex, involving multiple Friedman and relevant third party integrated products. The position reports to the Professional Services Director.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the successful implementation of Friedman project management, solutions and products within assigned accounts
- Accountable for full product life cycle, with emphasis on translation of user requirements into specifications for complex logical data models, source data capture, dictionary design and data integrity
- Establishes front line communication with client representatives on project-related issues, responding to customer demands with clear and concise feedback
- Analyze customers’ business requirements, needs and objectives and make recommendations towards using the existing software functionality
- Able to tactfully address difficult issues with the client without disturbing the client/vendor relationship
- Provide direction and project leadership to client teams regarding industry best practices utilizing Friedman software
- Manage several staff at various levels throughout multiple engagements simultaneously
- Provide input on strategic planning, priorities, design documents and testing plans
Experience and Education:
- Minimum of 5 years related ERP business, technical or applications experience
- Minimum of 2 years consulting or implementation experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline or equivalent education/experience
- Proven presentation, documentation, negotiation, communication and time management skills
- Advanced education and/or professional certifications/designations desirable
Job requirements:
- Travel up to 90% time is required

- Able to work effectively and timely in crisis situations at customers
- Superior communication, analytical and problem-solving skills are required; internal and external
- Communicate time frames, evaluate results and encourage innovative thoughts
