Job Description:
We have an immediate opening for a hands-on Senior Java Developer with 3+ years experience.
Experience & Education:
The successful candidate will have 3-5 years of development in Java using the following techniques: J2EE, JSP/Servlets APIs, Custom Tag Libraries, XML/JAXP/JAXB, Ant build tool, JDBC, SQL, JavaMail APIs, WebSphere Application Server Adminstration (5.x-6.x), Rational Clear Case Change Management. Desirable skills: Experience with Linux, Java Server Faces, Struts or other framework experience, XSLT, JMS/Messaging, JCE, JAAS, LDAP.
A plus: Web Services, UML - ability to translate requirements into UML diagrams, Knowledge of iSeries/AS400, Eclipse Rich Client platform GUI development. Need to work independently with limited supervision, translating enterprise resource planning (ERP) business requirements into JAVA (J2EE) code.
Experience with Object Oriented Analysis, Design and Programming. A plus: Web Services, UML - ability to translate requirements into UML diagrams, Knowledge if iSeries/AS400, Eclipse Rich Client platform GUI development.
