The Frontier Service and Warranty modules have been designed to
address the business requirements associated with the tracking
and resolution of customer service issues after the sale has been
completed. Combining after the fact claims processing functionality
with proactive field service and dispatch capabilities, the Frontier
Service and Warranty applications can register, track and resolve
any type of customer request. Frontier Service and Warranty integrates
seamlessly with the Frontier® ERP System to generate replacement
orders, inventory adjustments and Financial Payables, Receivables
and Ledger transactions.
Frontier Service and Warranty Supports:
- Automatic generation of product registration information based
on serial or job number, including all associated product
details, upon product shipment being confirmed
- Stock and custom configured product registrations,
incorporating detailed configuration information and as-built
Bill of Material
for configured products based on unique product license plate
- Automatic generation of end-user registration based
on sales order shipment details, with override capability to
track consumer
information and product ownership transfers
- Setup and tracking of both standard and extended warranty
details for each product registered, as well as critical component
parts
- Intelligent, user-defined fault and reason codes to
categorize warranty claimsand service dispatch requests, as well
as
establish processing standards
- Processing of warranty claims integrated into Frontier® ERP
to generate Accounts Payable voucher or Accounts Receivable
credit upon final approval
- Processing of service orders with automatic generation
of service/replacement parts order based on fault code(s) assigned
to the service
order
- Service dispatch calendar function to coordinate open
service requests and assign available technicians based on location,
availability
and skill set
- Detailed cost tracking for service calls, including
labor, parts and expenses, with option to bill the customer for
non-warranty related service
