Frontier Visual Configuration is designed to provide internal
and external visual verification of option oriented, customer specified
product lines. The Frontier Visual Configuration module utilizes
generic AutoCAD based templates that are cross-referenced to configuration
attributes to dynamically generate scaled, finished drawings. These
finished drawings can then be viewed online, as well as printed
on internal shop floor and/or external customer documents. The
functionality of the Frontier Visual Configuration module is supported
within the Frontier® ERP System, as well as the PowerBids Dealer
System.
Frontier Visual Configuration supports:
- A Friedman developed drawing utility to translate existing
AutoCAD drawings, or generate new drawings to be utilized as
Frontier
Visual Configuration templates
- Functionality to cross-reference the attributes of
a Visual Configuration drawing template to product configuration
attributes, establishing
the required links to generate finished drawings
- Automatic generation and storage of finished drawings
for printing on internal shop floor paperwork, as well as external
customer
documents
- A Friedman developed drawing engine to view scaled,
finished drawings online, eliminating the need for costly AutoCAD
licenses
