DEERFIELD, IL, (November 21, 2005) – Friedman Corporation, an enterprise software provider to home improvement product manufacturers, announced today that Blairs of Scotland, a leading designer and manufacturer of architectural and heritage windows and doors, has selected Friedman’s Frontier® solution to enhance its already superior reputation of blending skilled craftsmanship with technology to further improve upon their operational processes.
Blairs specializes in make to order, high quality timber windows and doors; marrying the best of tradition with leading edge technology, in a custom built factory on the shores of the Firth of Clyde, in Greenock, Scotland. They've recently embarked upon a major investment plan, which will result in the doubling of the company's installed manufacturing capacity to 60,000 windows and doors, per annum.
