IL, September 2, 2005 - The Friedman User Group, non-profit organization, formed to assist the Friedman Corporation client base in education and training efforts with regards to Friedman Corporation solutions, today announced that it would be donating $5,000 to the American Red Cross for its relief efforts for the vicitms affected by Hurricane Katrina.
The User Group, scheduled to hold its annual User Group Conference next May in New Orleans, feels the donation can provide some assitance to those ravaged by the hurricane and its aftermath. "Like all individuals across the United States, and across the globe, we have seen the many images of tragedy and devastation effecting the people of Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana," said User Group Board Chairman John Dacy, in a statement to be released to all members next week.
"We hope that with this donation that a little more aid and support can be provided to all affected by the events of this week."

network for system users, and to generate a cooperative environment with
Friedman Corporation for the continued development and enhancement of Friedman

The Friedman Corporation User Group Board of Directors is made of all current clients of the Friedman Corporation. The Board is elected by the membership at the annual conference. The board consists of a chairman, elected for a one-year term, and four directors, each elected for a two-year term. Two directors are elected each year on rotating basis. In addition, the board includes the previous chairman for a period of two years, liaison from Friedman Corporation and a group administrator, appointed by the chairman.
